Ottawa can block Alberta, tax Alberta, regulate Alberta, and still form government without Alberta’s support.
Why would we preserve that arrangement forever?
So everyone praises Danielle Smith for removing the Pride flag from schools, and then she just reversed the decision on a Friday? Will the flip flopping and betrayal of the floor crosser never end?
All of the various independent groups need to agree on what happens between now and October 19.
@ABProsperityPrj can use the volunteer network it built during the petition. @LetABDecide has demonstrated that it can raise money. @CoryBMorgan can continue advertising and grassroots outreach. The Transition Council can work on practical questions about pensions, borders, debt and trade. Other organizations can concentrate on their own areas.
There is plenty of work for everybody.
What they all should stop doing are these petty online arguments. We have a referendum to win in a very short time.
Let's focus on that.
Religion X eradicates 95% of religion Y in a given country. Hence, that 5% of Y still exist is offered as proof that X is a peaceful religion that coexists.
The level of willful duplicity and orgiastic stupidity is astounding.
A speaker’s racist comment at tonight’s Alberta Prosperity Project event was completely unacceptable. Let Alberta Decide condemns it unequivocally. Racism has no place in this debate or in the future we want to build for Alberta.
Let Alberta Decide and the Alberta Prosperity Project are separate organizations.
Tonight’s event was not ours, and the proposed constitution presented there is not a Let Alberta Decide document.
We made that clear publicly before the event. Keith Wilson had not reviewed the document and specifically requested that his name not be associated with it.
Let Alberta Decide has a clear purpose: to give Albertans serious, factual information about the choice they will make in October and to make the case for Alberta’s future on its merits.
People on every side of this debate will say things we disagree with. They speak for themselves.
We will speak for ourselves.
Our campaign will remain focused on Alberta’s economy, democratic accountability, opportunity and the future Albertans can build together.
Alberta looks south. The U.S. is our closest major market and the customer that matters most.
Ottawa has negotiated poorly trying to protect central Canada's manufacturing jobs America wants to bring home.
Alberta’s edge is different: we’re an energy superpower and critical resource supplier the U.S. actually needs.
Independence means direct control over that relationship so we can capitalize on our real strengths. Alberta can do better.
You can tell that the Federalists are worried because they keep talking about apathy and low voter turnout. They know that their side has no momentum behind it.
That’s because white poverty contradicts the mainstream narrative and throws a huge wrench into their standard class warfare rhetoric. So these people are just ignored by everyone and especially by all politicians on both sides.
Alberta looks south. The United States is our closest major market, our largest export destination, and the customer that matters most.
Ottawa has done a poor job negotiating on our behalf, weighed down by central Canada manufacturing and other interests the U.S. is determined to bring back home.
Alberta’s real strength is different: we’re an energy superpower and resource supplier America actually needs.
Independence is not about turning inward. It’s about gaining direct control over the trade relationship Ottawa currently mismanages from afar — so we can finally capitalize on what the U.S. values most.
Vote Option 2 on October 19. Alberta can do better.
MYTH: Option 2 means immediate separation.
FACT: Option 2 begins a legal process that ends with a binding vote by Albertans.
Nothing changes without your say.
Vote Option 2 on October 19.

It gives me absolutely no pleasure to keep repeating this. But actions have consequences.
Not safe.
Not effective.
The government failed.
And abandoned the injured.
