@EggersMatt@paulg Wow, matt, that was a stellar share from Paul Graham. So relevant to so many debates and tough hiring decisions I’ve struggled with for decades. And now I know, I’m not stupid at all, despite what my wife (and others) think. Thanks
We’re a climate tech company that spent months preparing 140 climate-smart tree seedlings for analysis. We overnighted them to another lab using @FedEx only to have them lost by your couriers. Replicating this research will take months and your team has not successfully located them. Pls help @FedExHelp@fedex!

Next thing you know, the government is going to say no to lead paint and leaded gas. What’s next? No SOx and NOx from smokestacks? No dumping raw sewage in the waterways? No electrical or building codes? Get the government out of my health and well-being, dagnabit!!
@EggersMatt I’ve seen a huge challenge when the team lacks domain exp but having it in the right place is more important than a blanket stmt that u just need it. Also depends on stage.
@evannicolebell Love your sound. I run a private music festival every summer in SF Bay Area and would love you for next summer. Reach out if you want to talk.
11/Embrace the abyss. Every great leader has their mettle tested in crisis. Every great company overcomes existential threat. A hero must traverse the abyss - nobody chooses it, but everyone eventually faces it. How you respond...that is all that matters

10/Keep telling your story. I stayed at Amzn during this time because Jeff sold me on his vision. When GFC postponed FB’s IPO by 4 years, Zuck never stopped talking about the mission. Churchill taught the world the power of storytelling in a crisis
