One of the most complicated things to get right when building a web3 game is the blend between web2 and web3.
Usually in web2 is hated web3 games and in web3 is thought that everything must be in the blockchain.
You know, the most important thing when creating a game is not the graphics but the mechanics. A boring game won't be a good game.
I aim to create a game that is the bridge between web2 and web3. Just like I wanted with EvoVerses.
Remember this first image in a few months π
So, I kinda like the #buildinpublic movement; so I am thinking about start sharing the dev progress of my upcoming game/project here; even if it is not yet ready for the launch.
Something like small dev videos about how we test new features and so on!
@server_kota Yeah, I think that for products that take some time to build (like games) is a really interesting option, you can showcase the progress in a better way!
@DeFinalFantasy @GranaryFinance@trueIMCMPLX If that is what you need, I can βlendβ you a few guys helping me right now; I just want a 3d grain gameβ¦
Finally Twitter/X/whatever you wanna call it returned me access to the accountβ¦ so whatβs up? π
If you are wondering, after I left EvoVerses in good hands, I discovered not want to stay inactive and I am building something!
Time to start leaking again as in the old times?
@0xDjango Well, I hope so, if not mines wouldnβt neither! π But in all seriousness I have been checking from time to time the Discord and they are doing a lot of progress (even streaming it) and they are about to launch a way better version! (Plus the token has been pumping nicely!)
We were getting out of resources to keep developing the project due to market situation. So we had to pick between stopping the project or trying to raise miney by selling more stuff to our community. I didnβt want any of those options butβ¦

I could; but since I canβt; I am getting ready something that also fully follows my vision of a web3 game. And who knows, maybe in the future both projects meet again!
thankfully the current leaders came with an offer: we (the previous leaders) step down and gave the ownership of the project and in exchange they would inject new resources to the project to keep it alive and growing (as they are doing).
That was really hard for us butβ¦ it was βmy little projectβ, I wanted to keep it alive no matter what. So we crafted an agreement, everyone signed it andβ¦ that is how we are now.
Obviously I would have kept working in the project ifβ¦
I believe for the first time this next game will mix web2 and web3 players seamlessly, obviously helping to speed up crypto adoption!
And that was a quick reflection, but soon instead of text I will start sharing videos of the progress π

I believe we started doing it right with EvoVerses (and I know the current leaders will keep doing it). And in the next project I am building (hopefully I will start leaking info soon) I believe we are going one step ahead and fully achieving this theory.
