@locust9 I kinda wish people dropped the myth that it's a "small studio". BG3 had 400-500 people working on it. Sure, it's not the 2000+ RDR2 had, but it dwarfs the 50 on Palworld, 100 on Helldivers and is more than even Elden Ring (300) and Dragon's Dogma 2 (400)
@Spac3Gh0s7_ I think the point of that song, given the next few lines, is precisely that if you let it nostalgia will cherry pick the bad out of the past. It's mocking the 1830s line itself
"Seems like it was never even fun back then
Nostalgia is a mind's trick
If I'd been there, I'd hate it"
@mikegeig@tha_rami@LethalJoke To be clear, Mike, mean absolutely no ill against you personally. I'm sure you're just doing the best you can to handle a situation outside your control. I'm sorry if it came across otherwise! I'm sure you understand why a lot of this feels unclear though
@tha_rami How do you feel about their emerging market pricing? It looks at install location, not developer location. So a Brazilian developer would pay full fees for their player base in the US for instance. Feels a bit weird to me, trying to compensate for regional pricing?
@phillColeman@stephentotilo I mean, sure, but then how do they prevent malicious installs counting? And say it is for billing purposes: I don't see that listed in thir Privacy Policy, but maybe I'm missing it? https://t.co/aY8pP1TuCp
@GrlpantsGR I feel like in the grand scheme of things 2000 shares (~75k USD) isn't that significant. Now if you were to look at Tomer Bar-Zeev.. CEO of ironSource (acquired by Unity) and board of directors at Unity.. Well, he sold for 1.4M USD like last week.
