They aren't competing with American golf et all as they provide a different service. My pro fitted me for a 3 wood and played 9 holes with me to see it was ok on the course.

- we need a club pro therefore need them to make money
- personal service. The internet doesn't know your golf game
- custom fitting and re-custom fitting as your game changes
- supporting your golf club
- not being a cheap skate
