🏆 We are proud to share with you the winners of our Honours and Awards!
The Award ceremony took place at our #ParaCon24 Evening Dinner, with each winner getting recognition for their efforts.
🤝 Thank you to @Galenltd for sponsoring the Dr John Hinds Scholarship Award.
It was an absolute privilege to be in attendance to witness the inaugural presentation of the Betty Pennington Research Award by her husband @ParamedicsUK conference
Well done to recipient @alex_diffley@YASResearch and to all the award winners
Even the bmj are posting my opinions now - #impostersyndrome#Paramedics and #netzero: There is much more we can do to decarbonise our fleet - https://t.co/fj97M1C93L
Lovely day yesterday, with the whole YAS research team meeting to discuss refreshing our research strategy, plans for the future and our continued development
#PoliticsLive good to see your panel concerns around nitrous oxide as a recreation drug didnt end with the littering of canisters. The drug itself is a potent greenhouse gas. Glad it finally was mentioned towards the end of your debate.
@PeteWaddingham@GreenED_uk Similarly I would be interested to understand your methodology as I am part of a working group of YAS looking to complete similar work for our ambulance service in early 2023.
@alexiskeech A friend saw some of these in Northampton recently after a few too many 🍻 and thought it was something out of Blade Runner...turned out his mum had bought some bread and milk for the morning 😂
@alexiskeech @wmasjoshmiller @OFFICIALWMAS@GreenerNHS@alexiskeech I have already added it to Bright Ideas/Simply Do so will be raised at next TPG to start ball rolling, please including me in any contacts @wmasjoshmiller
Why are @OFFICIALWMAS sharps boxes changing colour?
🟨 yellow lid ➡️ 🟨 yellow lid
🟨 yellow base ➡️ ⬛ dark base
♻️ it means we can use recycled plastic - which is harder to make in bright colours ♻️
Our #Research#Paramedics Elisha and Dan have been busy this morning packing up our new delivery of #PACKMaN Drugs ready to be sent out to stations this week
Evidence living up north is better for your health 🤣- or you're less likely to be harmed by a heatwave, amazing what 1-300 miles further north does! But in all seriousness I doubt many consider the implications of prolonged warm weather in the UK - a sign of what's to come?
