@JohnnyDineen Worth reading this from an altitude expert - looks like England prep of arriving 48 hours before is sub-optimal. Makes me wary of wanting to wade in at odds on for sure.

Some bad news for England fans...reports say they are arriving almost exactly 48 hours before the big game...
Probably one of the worst arrival times for performance. It's smack dab in the middle of the "dip" of performance with limited acclimatization...
@DiHobbs yourself, McCoy, Lacey etc have shone a light on the amateurism of the sport. I love the game, but if I was a sponsor Iโd be taking my money elsewhere. The entire future of the sport is on the line if this continues.
@Neil1875Neil Ground is soft on the chase course, not heavy like the hurdles course. We see this time after time with the Henderson camp - of course they can do what they want, but it makes for a lousy spectacle
@JacobPicko@SportingLife They will turn off - hardly enjoyable viewing is it? Too much emphasis around 4 days in March, and rest of the season is a total non event
I have written this letter to Oliver Dowden re crowds at the racecourse. If you agree with it, please feel free to copy it and send it to him - and โlikeโ or โretweetโ - so that the strength of feeling in our sport is plain. I have redacted my home address with a piece of cheese.
