If you think these decisions from Attwell and Pawson are just mistakes, you’re wrong.
Take a look at the list below:
𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 (𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐞 / 𝐕𝐀𝐑)
1. Bournemouth 2–2 Man Utd (March 2026): Attwell ignored a clear foul on Amad in the box with no VAR intervention, but later awarded a soft penalty and red card to Maguire for a similar incident. The decisions sparked outrage, with fans and pundits calling them inconsistent and baffling.
2. Burnley vs Man Utd (Jan 2026): Attwell and Pawson disallowed Martínez’s equaliser for minimal contact, later ruled incorrect by the KMI Panel. Fans saw it as another costly and unjust decision by the same duo.
3. Middlesbrough vs Man Utd (FA Cup 2022): As VAR, Attwell allowed a goal despite a clear handball in the build-up, leading to United’s elimination. The incident remains a widely cited example of a major officiating error against the club.
4. Chelsea vs Man Utd (2021): Attwell denied a clear penalty and reportedly ignored VAR advice to avoid controversy. The decision fueled long-term frustration among fans over perceived reluctance to make big calls.
𝐂𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐠 𝐏𝐚𝐰𝐬𝐨𝐧 (𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐞 / 𝐕𝐀𝐑)
1. Brentford 3–1 Man Utd (Sept 2025): Pawson awarded a penalty but failed to send off Collins for a clear DOGSO offence, with VAR not intervening. The KMI Panel later confirmed it as a major error, with fans believing it impacted the game’s outcome.
Cunha's goal doesn't change anything, by the way.
Last time I checked, being in an offside position & moving out of the way of the ball, contact or not, affects the goalkeepers ability to save the shot. This is not a complicated decision to overturn.
What the fuck @FA_PGMOL!?
@AdamMcKola Mate, we’re never going to progress within this system overloaded in midfield every week. You can play 7 centre half’s if you can’t stop the ball coming through in midfield it’s pointless!
I’ve never been so against a system since that 4-2-2-2 shite I saw under rangnick
Just a reminder that the club paid £33 million in interest payments on the Glazer bad debt.
No mention of that in their “transformation plan”.
Everyone knows why our great club is in dire straits and it isn’t because of the canteen or Joyce the cleaner.
Once again turning a blind eye to the root cause of everything and treating us like we are thick.
See you all on the 9th March.🔥
YOUR DEBT NOT OURS!
The 1958🇾🇪
It is a DISGRACE that the FA, the Premier League and the UK Government haven’t stepped in to put an end to this unlawful Glazer reign.
The Glazers borrowed £604M to buy the club, loading that debt onto us.
We’ve paid £834M in interest - 138% of the original loan.
The debt is up 21% to £731M and still growing.
The family have taken £200M in dividends from the clubs revenue.
It wouldn’t be allowed anywhere else. It’s evil, inhumane and needs to be put to an end.
#GlazersOut
I think I’d have probably won one if Liverpool were owned by a nation state, and pushed the rules so far that the PL charged us 115 times!!
I was actually praising Pep’s team after the game on Sunday 🤷♂️😂
Last year Manchester City had more revenue than any other club in the world.
It's obviously because they have so many fans and has nothing to do with financial doping.
If you don't believe me, just look at the wild scenes at the Ethiad this evening.
