VR idea for drivers ed class: students get into a fake car (stationary but w/ pedals, steering wheel) and attempt to text or use their phone while driving. VR simulates something unexpected happening (ex. animal runs across the road) & they get in a car crash in the simulation.

looking up life expectancy stats thanks to the latest @ArmchairExpPod and get a load of this: avg life expectancy in the US is around 78-80 (75-76 for men and 80-81 for women) depending on source. and full retirement age for social security is 70 YEARS OLD. no further comments.
