As a recent education graduate from the University of Lethbridge, I would love to hear any tips on securing or applying for contracts for the 2022/2023 school year. Anything and everything is appreciated! @rvsed@yyCBEdu
Officially on the sub list for @rvsed !! If anyone in Airdrie or Cochrane and surrounding areas needs a substitute teacher for K-6 let me know!! #rvsed
Our #grade3 morning meeting started with some big thoughts and feelings about the world so we shared ways we could being peace to the world and drew some sunflowers (national flower of Ukraine) 🌻 🇺🇦 #AbEd
I am a @ULethbridgeEdu student, I am looking for resources surrounding mindfulness practices within younger elementary classrooms!! I thought I would reach out here to see if anyone had any ideas or practices they enjoyed !
We ended our week by modelling the layers of our earth with plasticine! Students loved watching their earth be cut open to reveal the crust, mantle, outer and inner core!
Yesterday in Grade 3 we identified how important strong verbs are in our writing! We did a lesson on strong verbs while reading the story "Nicolas, where have you been?"
Students were asked to write sentences about their winter break while using strong verbs!
Seventh grader:
"The way I see it, the pandemic can be broken down into 3 parts:
Part one, when we all thought everything would go back to normal any day,
Part two, when we accepted that normal wasn't happening and looked for different ways to see our friends,
and February."
How lucky is Senator Buchanan @LethSchDivision? We had 10 additional practicums with us to care for our students. Thanks to our Interns, PS1s & CYCW (one missing...they just welcomed a baby yesterday!) students. Thank you & we wish you the best! @ULethbridgeEdu@LethCollege
