Just don't be a douche and cut people off that are obviously trying to get somewhere faster than you might feel comfortable with and depend on your little surveillance cameras like a pussy, or they might just want to crush your entire body. Also you shouldn't slow down and drift all the way over to the shoulder like that, that's also dangerous.

The truck is trapped in the fast lane, he is trying to get out of there. He can't get out because there is a car blocking him temporarily but you can tell he intends to change lanes before that. The slow Volkswagen in front of him should've just moved over. If left lanes are for passing only, depends on the highway. The Tesla merges exactly in front of the truck when he's trying to pass the other people.
