@BeatrixCatto@iqrafatma1278 Well yes, Galena, because if you ask your Chili’s server with the disgusting tray the ingredients in the fried onion bulb, they won’t be able to name anything other than onion & grease. Ask your Chili’s server what wine goes with the chicken tenders, prob the one that’s open
@iqrafatma1278 Gotten too used to the bill being so low. Make the companies pay for the difference instead, food cost will go up 30% or more. It is standard and they knew that before they went out. If you’re too poor or broke to tip, go to Burger King. The server still has to tip out
@Avabelly__ When I used to have people that I knew weren’t going to tip, like Tyler Perry Studios, I used to make certain their order was fuuuuuuuuuuuucked up. Your server can decide for you if you will have a good dinner or not. If you do, better tip accordingly. We have long memories.
@jeffstry17@Avabelly__ God forbid someone “overtip” looking out for someone. What exactly is “overtipping”? You might as well change your profile name to “absolutely0class”
@dukeofcuddles@Avabelly__ Wow. You’re a shit person. It’s not the server’s fault. In other countries, servers make salaries of $50k - $80k. Here a lot of servers make $2.13/hr. Your food can also cost much higher to pay for it, yet doesn’t. It’s a cultural norm here. Get some class.
@Rev_AFischer@Avabelly__ Well Pastor, in that case, demand to pay 40% more for your steak, so that your server can get what they should be paid from the restaurant. That’s the only way this goes. And I say 40% because if they’re going up 25 they’re gonna go to 40
@trinikingz2@Avabelly__ A well-earned $400, does that bother you?
If a table has a $500 meal, usually that means they had a bottle or two of wine I.e. bottle service, had full meals—bringing out each course, and cleaning up after them. Which means they can’t take many other tables at the same time.
@trinikingz2@Avabelly__ It is culturally mandatory and a norm in the U.S. The people at McDonalds don’t take your order at your table, they don’t come to you with refills, they don’t know one damn ingredient in the shot they are selling, nor what flavor of coke goes with what burger.
@amberdolatowski@Avabelly__ No, it’s not. Not in the U.S. Servers are usually paid well under minimum wage…some even $2.13/hour. So tip the 20%, or the food price can go up 40%. And don’t be a cheap b.
