My favorite thing to do while running is to count the total number of dogs I see.

Today I saw 18 dogs on a 2.5 mile run.

That equates to a solid 7.2 dpm (dogs per mile).

New mission: Find the route with the highest dpm 🐶

Found a hot spot on today’s run/walk. Saw 42 dogs and hit 9.9 dpm 🔥

Might be a bit high though, I think a few dogs were counted twice (tough to keep track with high volume).
