We will not be delayed.
We will not be masquerade
To the tale of a handmade.
We will not let Roe v. Wade slowly fade.
Because when we show up today,
We’re already standing up
With the tomorrow we made.

Let's get to work: https://t.co/BNVLVLM6Ji

[Michelle Obama @MichelleObama]

My thoughts on the Supreme Court's decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.

[Alex Caruthers (she/her) @alexcaruthers]

I’m not mad. I’m disappointed.

And heartbroken, a little scared, and filled with dread.

[Alex Caruthers (she/her) @alexcaruthers]

@SkipDaddy I still need training on that! 😉 So. Much. Training.

LOVE seeing my worlds collide!

[Paul Oren @TVBOren]

Still can’t get over the fact that @IAStateAD flew to Valpo to support @Charles_Small15. Speaks volumes about how much Charles Small was valued at Iowa State.

Different year, same #SafePlaceSelfie

[Alex Caruthers (she/her) @alexcaruthers]

Action shot #SafePlaceSelfie from last year! Sheltering in our downstairs bathroom. Dakota has her harness with ID tags on, just in case

[Alex Caruthers (she/her) @alexcaruthers]

@NWSKansasCity I35 around Bethany are completely covered. MM 84-106, north and southbound. Road conditions deteriorated very quickly

We miss you, Chris.

Okay, not doing SMART goals this year. The world's a mess. Time for FUN goals.

Flexible - Life happens, things change, goals shift.

Uplifting - Bettering myself isn’t a punishment.

Numberless - Life won’t be radically different if I read 29 books this year instead of 30.

[Alex Caruthers (she/her) @alexcaruthers]

I made my 2021 resolutions assuming this pandemic would improve.

It didn’t so neither did my goals.

[Guy Branum @guybranum]

Betty White dying three weeks before she turned 100 is the final act of performer whose timing was always sharp, always unexpected, and even with the warmest of characters, always a little dangerous. No one else could live to 99 and so perfectly leave us wanting more.

[Alex Caruthers (she/her) @alexcaruthers]

@AmberAwx NO 🙃🥲🤤

[Alex Caruthers (she/her) @alexcaruthers]

@AmberAwx @BrettMcWx Had that least year and it was the best local holiday beer!

[Alex Caruthers (she/her) @alexcaruthers]

Much like this @CycloneFB season, I have unfinished business to take care of in 2022. #CyclONEnation

[Alex Caruthers (she/her) @alexcaruthers]

Much like this @CycloneFB season, my time at ISU wasn’t what I expected. Much like this @CycloneFB season, I’ve been disappointed focusing on what I didn’t accomplish instead of what I did.

[Alex Caruthers (she/her) @alexcaruthers]

Next week I start as a Hydrologist at the @NWSMBRFC! I’m not quite done with my PhD but I’m hoping that I’ll finish next year. I’m so close! But change is needed and I cannot wait to start this new chapter in my career, even if it’s not what I ever expected!
