Chams Media by @AlexChamwada has done an amazing Documentary on the JOURNEY OF FUEL FROM MIDDLE EAST to the Port of Mombasa then into the pipeline and to the end consumer. This is great storytelling! Hapo Sawa Aleko! Telling the KENYAN STORY. MUST WATCH IT. IF YOU DON'T TELL YOUR STORY, SOMEONE WILL TELL IT, once former Govt Spokesman @MwauraIsaac1 said it. Own your story!
"I'm privileged to serve as the 2nd Chancellor of the Co-operative University of Kenya since last year. It is a huge milestone celebrating a decade since we were chartered as a public university. When I was appointed I was 36 years of age, I'm now 38, the president honored me to be the youngest Kenyan ever to be appointed a Chancellor of a public university, the youngest Chancellor on the continent of Africa for a public university." @benchitunga@vc_cuk@CoopVarsityKE
"We excited at the milestones we have made in growing the cooperative movement in Kenya as we celebrate 10 years of the," Prof Kamau Ngamau, VC @CoopVarsityKE@benchitunga@vc_cuk
I'm saddened to learn of the death of Kenya's first ambassador to the US Burudi Nabwera. Nabwera was the only living envoy among the first 6 ambassadors appointed by Kenya's founding president Mzee Jomo Kenyattta to represent 6 regions. I interviewed him in 2023 as we marked 60 years of self internal rule. Take a look.
Massive! He has just bought an old court house at Ksh 350M to turn it into residential flats. This week on #DaringAbroad we take you to Lowell, Massachusettes 🇺🇸 where we met Tim Kihiko who is shinning in the real estate sector. Watch this teaser to get a glimpse of what he does @ChamsMedia #DaringAbroad
I didn’t choose to lose my sight. But I did choose what to do with the life that came after. Today is #WorldSightDay, and this year’s theme is “Love Your Eyes.”
I was born with full sight. Glaucoma slowly changed that, and learning to navigate a world I could no longer fully see came with its own challenges.
But it also taught me that sometimes, the real disability is the world around us, when our spaces, systems and services are not designed to include everyone.
The Persons with Disabilities Act, 2025 recognises the right to accessibility, reasonable accommodation and assistive support.
So, please take care of your eyes. Get them checked. And while you’re at it, let’s also learn to see inclusion differently. #VIP
Earlier this week, I was honoured to interact with @AlexChamwada & had a moment of learning during @CoopVarsityKE's anniversary documentary recording with the @ChamsMedia Team. I'm privileged to be at this strategic point, celebrating 10 years of the Charter Award Anniversary!
