The state media was misled by bad actors and because of it, PPG was forced into an impossible position and went silent. About that news clip going around, because I see a lot of fear and some confusion.

What it actually is:

It's a 54 second vertical clip from Lightning News, the digital channel of a regional TV station, Shandong. Not CCTV, not a central outlet. And if you look at the corner of the video, it says the anchor is partially AI generated. This is a synthetic presenter. Chinese digital outlets mass produce these commentary clips daily. This is assembly line content, not a special broadcast against us.

Who it targets:

The entire message is aimed at Papergames: "your apology is still in future tense, we want actions, not words." It's one more voice in the pile of media pressure on the company.

Yes, the clip reuses chopped scenes from Valko's PV, edited to look damning. It's ugly and unfair to him, and I won't pretend otherwise. But it's recycled footage serving their real argument, which is about the company's apology.

Why this actually confirms what we've been saying:

If media is still demanding "prove it with actions" on July 9, it means the company is still under scrutiny. This is exactly why they cannot mention Valko yet. Their silence is not abandonment. It's survival while the storm passes.

Does this hurt Valko's chances? It delays things, yes. It does not close the door. Doors close with the word "over," and nine days later, that word still has not been said.

What we do: nothing aggressive. We do not attack Chinese media outlets, we do not flood their comments, we do not start hashtag wars against them. That would turn a regional clip about a company's apology into "international players attack Chinese press," and THAT would hurt Valko far more than the clip itself.

Our patience is the only thing that has to outlast it. You can keep posting about how we know they corner them and that we are waiting for Valko to be back, show love but that’s it.

I need you all to understand what's going around right now: Infold and PPG are being blamed for the overseas mistrust of Chinese gaming companies. This is a VERY big topic over there right now. Again... all eyes are on us.

We are 100% allowed to correct the course on this. We don't need to be misrepresented, and we don't need to keep directing our anger at PPG for something that was completely out of their control. When state media gets involved, you act.... or you're done for. Refer to my timeline post here for verification.

I see people VERY scared right now, so let me be clear: we are ABSOLUTELY fine expressing dissatisfaction with the way this was handle on OUR platform.

HOWEVER. IT IS NOT A GOOD IDEA TO GO AFTER THEM ON XHS OR WEIBO. My dear CN friend told me this directly:

"These official media comment sections are under very strict control. If large-scale protests were to appear in their comment sections, following the way things are handled on our side, they might even force Yodo1 to shut down the game to quell public opinion."

Now I need you all to listen to me. CN eyes are on us. BIG TIME. They are going to report what they see.
