Final in the District 3-A championship game:
Oneida 5
Cumberland Gap 4
Aliyah Douglas scored a pair, Alexea Jones scored a pair and Kamryn Kennedy added the 5th goal.
We get to play in the region ship and substate!! I am so proud of my girls tonight and how we pulled through!! It was sad to hear about Scott’s game, I wanted to congratulate you guys on the awesome season you guys had!! It’s time to take it to state Lady Indians🤍
I hope you know that he didn’t die for the beautiful dressed up you that sits in church and reads the Bible everyday. He died for the you that cries at night & wakes up late for church & makes unforgivable mistakes & goes weeks without thanking him. Don’t forget that.
we are not even CLOSE to deserving Gods love yet He continues to give it anyways!!! how crazy is it that?
we can mess up in ways that we think we will never recover from, but He is there to pick us up every time. His love is unimaginable.
an overwhelming, never-ending love.
the world doesn’t need more people who talk about Jesus, the world needs more people who talk like Jesus. the world needs more people who act like Jesus. the world needs more people who love like Jesus.
let’s be those people.
Today's soccer game was the last for five Oneida seniors:
⚽️ Macy Dunlap
⚽️ Macy Griffith
⚽️ Alea Jones
⚽️ Shalyn Tittle
⚽️ Teesha Norris
That group won 3 consecutive district championships, 2 region titles, went to substate 3 straight years, and were 41-20-4 overall.
Oneida’s Alea Jones has been named the Region 2-A MVP. The 3-time District 3-A goalie of the year was snubbed in the district awards after missing several games due to injury but played a key role in the Lady Indians’ region title run.
