The most important scene in television history.

[Alex Goldstick @alexgoldstick]

Literally, the only people in the baseball watching public that do not think he should be fired work in the Mets front office.

[Alex Goldstick @alexgoldstick]

Everything in this article about the Mets’ problems can be true AND the manager can be a problem. It’s just incredibly insulting and tone deaf for the front office to be telling fans that Mendoza is not at fault when we watch him mess up basic in-game decision every single day.

[Anthony DiComo @AnthonyDiComo]

Exclusive: the Mets are backing Carlos Mendoza despite their 10-21 start. “We don’t view this as a manager problem, and we don’t intend to make a change.”

Philadelphia and Boston fired their coaches for less and Mendoza has been unimpressive at best and lost at worst since he was hired. The magic of 2024 covered up for his incompetence. Not sure why the front office can’t see that.

Why is Steve Cohen courtside at the Knicks game when he could be firing Carlos Mendoza?

@VinnyCeglio How about tonight?

[Alex Goldstick @alexgoldstick]

@MFliegelman Been saying this for over a year. He must be an unreal clubhouse vibes guy because he has no in-game decision making ability.

He needs to be sacked TONIGHT. Light a fire and try to save this season.
