While participating in my infancy group presentation, I realize more and more how important it is to advocate #SWO332

[Alexia Walker @alexiajwalker]

Now that the election is settling, we as social workers should start to brainstorm different ways we can help if resources fall #SWO332

Wow. We need more people to take action like this. Too many people turn a blind eye to situations like this #SWO332 https://t.co/ae9HpJkte8

[AJ+ @ajplus]

“No is no, do not touch young women or women of all ages.”

@ashnicolejust def true! So many people are on FB and believe it or not that's where a lot of people get some of their sources #MacroSW

[Alexia Walker @alexiajwalker]

@Dn_wcu so true! You would think that everyone would be able to have equal accessibility here. Especially in 2016! #MacroSW

[Alexia Walker @alexiajwalker]

make yourself aware by walkin around your community/campus and see whether or not someone with a disability would have equal access #MacroSW

[Alexia Walker @alexiajwalker]

There are definitely a lot of people who do not know about the discrimination that people with disabilities may go through daily #MacroSW

[Alexia Walker @alexiajwalker]

It's very important to educate yourself first when trying to advocate for people with disabilities. Major key #MacroSW

[Alexia Walker @alexiajwalker]

Definitely true! In order to help and be an ally one must be able to empathize with them and try to better understand #MacroSW https://t.co/lmY7nJqFTK

[Erin Gleason @erin_wcupa4397]

Q1: being a good ally all starts with education and knowledge #macrosw

[Alexia Walker @alexiajwalker]

I spoke with a man in the military and asked him if he was offended by people who sit/take a knee during the national anthem... #SWO332

@sakie2002 @Miriam_Heppler I feel like that too. No one is perfect so who are we to judge other people #payitnomind
