This is Waffle. She was a good cat. She died yesterday at 20 years old. We all love you, Waffle. Even though you were a little slow, you were a good cat. The last of a generation of good cats. Ollie, Hank, Pumpkin. And the progenitor of them all, Trouble. All good cats. RIP.
Last year, my friend was repairing the heating system of an old church. Many stray cats lived inside, and one kitten greeted him every morning and stayed close by while he worked. He shared his lunch with her, and I started sending him cat food every day.
When the new owners announced they were taking the cats to the shelter, I told them to bring them home. I met her at the vet a year ago, and we took her in. We named her Clara, after the church. It took months for her to trust us, but now she shares our bed, lives peacefully with our two dogs, and fills our days with laughter.
This little kitten was found by someone who asked my wife if she could help. My wife, being an animal lover, has been caring for her for almost three weeks now. The animal shelter couldn’t take her and told my wife to just leave her at the door, saying she wouldn’t make it through the night. At the time, she was so tiny, her eyes were still closed, and her umbilical cord was still attached.
I have to give my wife credit, because this little kitten is getting stronger every day. Against all expectations, she’s now about three weeks old, nursing well, and sleeping through the night. We’ll keep sharing updates as she grows.
To the family in the red SUV at Tim Horton's today,,

I have no problem with Islam. I am just against beheadings, stoning, marrying little girls, sexual slavery, taqiyya, slave trading, rape, jihad, burqas, child abuse, women abuse, animal abuse, multiple wives, murder, Sharia, terrorism, brainwashing, . Does that make me Islamophobic?

My friends, our prayers have been answered! Thank you from the bottom of my heart! 🙏💙
My daughter developed a major complication with her pregnancy last night. They induced labor this morning in hope she would be able to deliver naturally. The stress became too much for the little one. They did an emergency C section tonight.
Now I can proudly say, the newest addition to the Rug Gallery has arrived! I'm a overly proud Grand Dad of our first Rugrat! A beautiful baby boy. Mom and the little guy are doing well. My son in law looks like he could use a stiff drink.
Anyone who knows me knows how much I've been looking forward to this. I've been dealing with some major health issues that have snowballed over the last three years. My one hope was to have a grandbaby. All of my prayers have been answered. Every child on Earth is a new gift from God. I've been blessed!
Why did it take one young man with a camera to uncover what government inspectors failed to discover for decades? It’s simple.
Washington pays 90% of Medicaid expansion costs. To the states, it's basically free money, so they have zero incentive to check who's actually eligible for these benefits. Make it a 50-50 split between the federal government and the states, and you'll see states taking an interest in fraud real fast.
I have officially introduced the 'English Language Proficiency Act,' a bill that will mandate basic proficiency in English in order to become a naturalized American citizen.
English is the common tongue that holds American communities together. Under our current laws, there are exceptions based on age that allow people to become citizens without being able to speak our language.
My bill will hold every candidate for naturalization to the same standard: If you want to live the American Dream, you have to speak the same language as your fellow countrymen.
