@RockyMountViews To stay out of jail. He’s still “Individual One” in several pending cases, & New York has some criminal charges, too. He is only staying in to avoid jail time. Plus, the US still has money in the Treasury. Once Trump is done raiding those accounts, he will take the money & run!

@critigal1 Understood. I searched high & low for a blanket that has a fluffy faux sheepskin on one side & cotton on the other. They love the feel of the sheepskin side. I lay it in their cat bed during the day, then bring it with me to bed at night. Saves a lot of wear & tear on my skin!

Yesterday was Portland’s first night in over 50 days without police or fed interference with the protests and - who knew - everything was calm and peaceful. No major incidents.

@critigal1 2/ Also, trim their claws at least once a week - that helps reduce the pain levels & claw marks on your skin. I usually wait until my cats are asleep to trim their claws, much more docile that way! One of these cats has been here for ~18 years now & he still kneads.

@jojolbaker 2/ hear or debate any bills to extend the unemp. benefits package until September. The GOP proposed a $200 payment for a 90-day period to help workers cover their rent, utilities & food bills. The GOP has no clue how real people live in this country, or how much it costs.

@jojolbaker Nope. According to MSNBC, they are off the entire month of August, for their usual summer recess until 9/7/2020. The online calendar says 8/10/2020 to 9/7/2020, so maybe there will be one more week in session but MSNBC was very clear on their recess starting now & they won’t...
