@FightLike36@gtj24@JayHrndz2 Aside from politics, growing the sport in the US absolutely would cause more young people to cheer for the USMNT in general. Many do identify as Americans, that’s a pretty broad generalization. I never said it was a “solvable problem” I just stated a reasoning.

@ibks001@ceciliahuatv That’s just not true. I’ve been to multiple cities in the US that aren’t hosting games that have lots of World Cup merch and items. Hell I’m at an airport in Colorado right now that has World Cup themed shirts and alcohol.
