@sudoraohacker Similar experience with Fremont Costco. Cancelled after a year (22-23). Gas lines and traffic inside the store crazy. Then, Newark Costco opened, caused Fremont Costco to be less chaotic. Now a member. Oakland opening a Costco would help relieve congestion at Richmond location
@YunTaTsai1 You can also arrange for a phone call, which can be good for ordering meds or tests, but they will charge it as a telehealth visit. If your PCP does not respond, try sending a message to another doctor at your same Kaiser office/same team
@YunTaTsai1 I have Kaiser as well. I’d recommend sending a direct message to her primary care doctor and request an in person evaluation and/or a phone consultation. The primary care provider often has access to appointment availability that you cannot reserve online

@_fat_ugly_rat_ Should note that this area is very wildfire prone - it lacks the large valley/basin areas like LA and the Bay Area, so wildland-urban interfaces are much closer—more beautiful tho. When disaster strikes, you only have one main artery in and out
@_fat_ugly_rat_ Would love a denser more affordable SLO or SBA, but there’s some stiff zoning to keep it low and charming. Maybe Santa Maria, but that’s like the only affordable part of the central coast 😅 Pacific Surfliner is great for getting between these places.
@2024dion@GrizzlyChair@mnolangray As someone from Jacksonville who has been to Calgary - Jacksonville sprawls too much into St. Johns, Nassau, Clay and Clay Counties while Calgary feels more like an abrupt end of development once you drive out of it
Forecasting and satellite imagery from @PivotalWeather and @NWSFortWorth were instrumental in our decision to head north of Dallas County but West of US-75 (was considering McKinney or Paris prior) to this morning. This morning in Coppell/Frisco: low clouds and drizzle
Was really worried about the view here in DFW from Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, as there were passing clouds before and after totality but a pocket of blue sky with no clouds passed over several minutes before totality
