@Sam_Vecenie Early in the season*** lets not twist the facts here - he wanted more time earlier in the season to prove himself which he ultimately got and proved himself to be maybe be the best draft pick from last year.
@stoolpresidente They were coming off a 7 game series against the best team in the league plus have multiple 1st or 2nd year players playing big minutes. They had to experience this to become a championship team.
A RESPONSE to Texas From Oklahoma...
Oklahoma Attorney General Gentner Drummond is asking the Big 12 to sanction Texas Tech following the Brendan Sorsby gambling fallout.
“My office stands ready to assist the Big 12 if Texas Tech's leadership attempts to punish the Conference for doing the right thing.”
@Kaitlyn_Grace1 He can be a student without getting the PRIVILEGE of playing college football. This idea that TTU is helping him is absurd. They’re trying to win games, that’s all. Any suggestion to the contrary is patently false.
@On3@PeteNakos They would lose. Big 12 has bylaws that TTU agreed to. They don’t have much of a leg to stand on. They can play independently if they want 🤣
@ryane836@TexasFootball They self reported and fired 3 of the staffers. That’s called accountability. Maybe TTU should take notes. Also, it wasn’t a player who directly affects the outcome of the game…so there’s that.
The CFP could solve this whole thing. Deem TTU ineligible for any games he plays in and consider it a win for the opponent. He can play, just won’t mean anything. Nothing in the injunction says the CFP (independent of NCAA) has to make the school eligible for postseason play.
