Like many of you- I drafted Kelce in round 1 of my fantasy league- and he may not play this week.

Don’t panic- theres two rookie TEs I think are worth picking up.

1) Sam Laporta- DET
Next in line of great Iowa TEs, I covered him in college. He lined up all over the field and is a mature, polished route runner with dependable hands. He’s reportedly looked like TE1 all off season and has been one of Goffs favorite targets. Also of note- his HC Dan Cambell played the position! I expect him to catch 50+ balls this season.

2) Dalton Kincaid- Buffalo
A first round draft pick with athleticism that makes him effectively a big WR. His game is closer to Kelce than Gronk, and the Bills seems to agree having him lineup at WR and in the slot throughout the preseason. When a team drafts a guy in the first round.. they typically want to prove themselves right by utilizing that pick. Expect him to have a big season.
