It’s AWD so it can handle the snow - but can it handle the salt? I don’t want to find out so it’s not getting beyond the driveway for the next few months.
The SVX now has the winter tires + factory wheels!
The wheels are uni-directional and it’s easy to accidentally put them on the wrong side.
Case in point: the SVX at the top of the SVX Wikipedia page has the rear wheel on wrong.
@GrumpyOldMarin2 I like that expression - I picked it up on a rainy day and it must be the AWD among other things but it felt so planted on wet curvy roads.
I drove this 1997 SVX last weekend.
It was amazing to be in the presence of this oddball heckblende-y Subaru.
Driving didn’t feel as amazing but I also stayed within posted speed limits so maybe the flat-6 engine is capable of more than I experienced.
