@DalgetySusan He’s quite right, he doesn’t get to dictate how Parliament operates. Hyperbolic and hypocritical over reaction by disgruntled political activists.
@euanmccolm Access is not unfettered in Westminster, especially to the PM. What is pathetic is the behaviour in Scotland of an entitled mob with political agendas.
@BBCPolitics Unfortunately some have memories of a truly awful minister in the Blair/Brown era. He was known for having no spine, as his head turned 360 degrees depending on how the wind blew. A populist with no gravitas.
@NUJofficial@NUJScotland If Scotland had a balanced media then scrutiny would be legitimate; but it’s not. Weak opinions, smears and downright political activism seems the norm. There is a wider spectrum of journalism but in Scotland, it’s heavily slanted to the negative, tabloid end of things.
@BBCPolitics Burnham is a local politician who only talks about the “north”. He’s neither a statesman or a serious thinker. When hope meets reality, there are going to be a lot of disillusioned people.
@BobMacTrack It’s the general inconsistency, simply can’t guarantee anything and can’t build any momentum. He looks like he misreading the putts and not sure how the caddie is helping.
@STVNews Genuinely don't think it's an "earth shaking" event.. always a historically strong Tory stronghold. Let's see if they can convince Labour to change tack on an Energy policy and do something against the hyperbolic promises of GB Energy.
@paulhutcheon And the catastrophic night for Labour in Scotland? Tensions in Labour leadership will now escalate as they start to panic; Burnham won't save them in Scotland..
