If Cody Rhodes does beat Drew McIntyre to win the title back and set up Randy Orton vs Cody, which they’ve been teasing for a long time, then I actually love that they took the title off Cody for a few months.
Sometimes it’s okay to have title changes in the middle of a story if you still reach the final destination. If Cody had held the title the whole time, we wouldn’t have gotten Drew as champion in front of crowds and in his hometown, and he’d still be seen as the guy who loses the big one.
Instead, Drew’s stock is as high as it’s been since turning heel. And if we get Drew vs Jacob Fatu at WrestleMania, that match feels even bigger now than it would’ve if Drew never won the title in the first place.
A’Shawn: “Get off me”
DB: “No. It’s me”
A’Shawn: “Get off me”
DB: “It’s me, motherfucker”
A’Shawn: “Get off me”
DB: “Fuck that. Let’s go”
Derrick Brown smoothly de-escalating the situation. Maybe one of the biggest shows of his strength here 😂💀
What if, by us losing wk1, We reverse the established pattern and instead of losing in The Super Bowl, We actually win it. 3rd time is the charm...

Piss away the opportunity to fortify an identity & culture, if the @Panthers deal a Cat who actually wanted to be here.
Sometimes it doesn't have to be 'business/analytical'. Sometimes a franchise & team need Heart to bridge the business/&sport in harmony & unifying victory.
