BREAKING: The organization American Oversight obtained more than 300 pages of official DOJ emails, including from AG nominee Todd Blanche.

The documents show he “oversaw senior Justice Department officials pursuing politically charged investigations, convened recurring meetings of the so-called weaponization working group, and committed departmental resources to advancing President Trump’s efforts targeting political opponents,” Executive Director Chioma Chukwu told the New York Times.

The emails raise serious doubts that Blanche can lead an independent DOJ, rather than use the AG role to advance Trump’s partisan agenda.

BREAKING: SHAME HIM! Senator Raphael Warnock wrecks Trump ahead of his big speech tonight, says that he should see a "therapist" over his pathetic refusal to accept his 2020 election loss.

This is EXACTLY how you deal with this basket case of a President...

"I get it. Losing is hard. But six years later and Trump is STILL talking about the election he lost? This is something to work through with a therapist," Warnock wrote on X. "Leave the people of Georgia and the country out of it."

Early reporting on Trump's announcement tonight suggests that he's going to spread more insane lies about the 2020 election. Specifically, he may claim that Senators Warnock and Jon Ossoff of Georgia were elected through voter fraud and thus illegitimately holding their Senate seats.

Trump is obsessed with Georgia. He hates that Black voters in the south repudiated him so strongly and sent Joe Biden to the White House for four years.

Lying about 2020 also helps Trump to lay the groundwork for disrupting the upcoming midterms. If he screeches loudly enough that our elections are rigged, he believes he'll have a pretext to dispute the predicted blue wave crashing towards him. Not only that, but it raises the possibility that he could deploy paramilitary forces like ICE to the polling places to "oversee election integrity," which would in practice be nothing more than fascist voter intimidation.

Ty Cobb, a former member of Trump's White House legal team, predicted that tonight's speech is "intended to add to the predicate that he needs to declare an emergency at or about the time of the elections."

"Steve Bannon and Todd Blanche have suggested that there will be ICE agents at the polls," he added. "I think that that's a virtual certainty, whether that will include the National Guard or not."

Our democracy has never been in a more precarious position. The President, the man who swore an oath to serve and protect the Constitution, is actively working to destroy our democracy and install himself as an authoritarian despot. Now is not the time for silence. Every patriotic American has a moral responsibility to speak out forcefully against Trump and his corrupt machinations. Warnock is doing just that.

"Donald Trump lost Georgia in 2020. That's not my opinion, it's a fact," he wrote in another tweet. "The votes were counted, recounted, audited, and litigated. He lost."
