Yesterday, my therapist taught me the 5-7 rule when I'm having anxiety attacks. Inhale 5 seconds, exhale 7 seconds. Do that for a minute when you find yourself hyperventilating. Was advised to keep practicing this everyday for 15mins, too. Hope this helps anyone who needs it.
