Sad that on a day all about togetherness and where normally extending a hand is the first thing I would do, the kindest thing to do is to is to stay apart. I hope next year is different, and this sacrifice is worth it

It’s not enough to “not be racist”. Educate yourself, sign petitions, donate, attend peaceful protests, call out your racist friends and family. It’s time to acknowledge this country has a racism problem, and it’s time for change.
