@Alex_Vandewalle True, now that I study video games I tend to be unable to see the forest for the trees. The only game that's completely immersed me lately has been Final Fantasy 14. Although there's of course a temptation to write on an aspect of it, for now I've been crying through Endwalker!

@cherrypoppunk Awww that's so sweet, it's always a lovely feeling when cats feel safe in your yard! Although we have a dog our neighbours have particularly energetic kids so their cats regularly hang around our garden full of bushes and plants, we leave water out and give them treats.

This is crazy. People in fandoms I'm a part of are now faced with people stalking or bullying being able to view and screengrab their content to further perpetuate their behaviour but can now do so while their target can't see them doing it thanks to this glorified mute button.

Today, block can be used by users to share and hide harmful or private information about those they’ve blocked. Users will be able to see if such behavior occurs with this update, allowing for greater transparency.

Just as I'm writing a chapter about part of Disney's track record for live service game closures, they have a hand in another live service game closure. At least this time they gave players more than a month.
