@G0thGrillin@Bizkit047 You say that, but you also admitted that you played KH2 before CoM… This is getting nowhere. I’m sorry that you don’t care for an official release of KHuX or DR that new fans will be naturally gravitated to when they get that far into the franchise.
@G0thGrillin@Bizkit047 I agree, I think ReCoM is very fun if you’re open to learning the card system. And I believe that Re:CoM is some of the best story KH has to offer. But wouldnt you feel off if ReCoM wasnt in the HD collections and you were expected to watch cutscenes on YouTube before playing KH2
@G0thGrillin@Bizkit047 No, just an offline version of what we already had would be fine, imo. Not ideal to have to download a mobile game, but if it’s an OFFICIAL KH release, players will naturally be led to it. I don’t think we should leave how the UX/DR story should be told entirely to Everglow.
@G0thGrillin@Bizkit047 Yeah, I always recommend people PLAY through Re:CoM, or if they have the means to it, CoM. But as accessible as KH is today, I get why someone might not like the card system and decide to watch the cutscenes instead. Regardless the game is available should they choose to play it
@G0thGrillin@Bizkit047 Here we go. Yeah, you enjoyed KH2, but it wasn’t the intended order. Unfortunately you missed out on a lot of things. Personally, I’m happy you enjoyed KH2. But today, would you recommend someone should start with KH2 just because they would probably enjoy it anyways.
@G0thGrillin@Bizkit047 All I’m saying is that there should be official means of consuming the story. All the mobile games are officially offline and delisted, and it staying this way is going to divide KH4 players when it comes out.
@G0thGrillin@Bizkit047 I’m don’t know how else to tell you, but you’re wrong. Many people avoid certain online spaces to avoid any spoilers. But let’s say they did know that the mobile games exist. Do you expect they’re going to watch through videos going over Project V-Cast or Kingdom Hearts Mobile?
@G0thGrillin@Bizkit047 KH fans have been dealing with this since CoM because back in the mid 2000s almost everybody played KH2 before playing CoM because why would you assume that a handheld game exclusively on a different console would be the direct sequel to KH1 and the direct precursor to KH2
@G0thGrillin@Bizkit047 And that’s the problem. today you wouldn’t know unless someone told you. Someone who is not necessarily a “fan” but is interested in playing the KH games will unfortunately not have the full context going in to KH4 because they only played the games that were available.
@G0thGrillin@Bizkit047 How would you know they exist if you arent on twitter. Why would you assume that they’re important to the story or even canon, if theres not official way to experience the story? If I’m new to KH I’m buying the AIO collection and MoM. Why wouldnt I think that’s enough for KH4
@CapoAttano@ViolinSpeedruns@Bizkit047 At the very least they can have the story be accessible through their own products, and not have to leave it in the hands of YouTubers who are not tied to the series’s production in any way. The definitive available method of experiencing the story should not be an Everglow video
@G0thGrillin@Bizkit047 Okay, so if you don’t know you need to watch cutscenes of a mobile game to get a proper grasp of the overarching story. Not everyone playing KH is going to be online interacting with the community to tell them that. It’s not intuitive for the player to have them look elsewhere.
