However TKO boxing is literally also partnered with the Saudis and are relying on their funding so they can continue cutting costs to maximise shareholder value (side-effect of monopoly).

@JohnCrensh67847 @LoganDobson Sponsorships are a non-factor if TKO are involved. Fighters in the UFC are paid about 17% of total revenue and boxers 80% or more. That means boxing events under TKO would have to get about 5x the revenue than they do currently to pay fighters more which is entirely unrealistic.

Also generally speaking I’d rather the athletes get the majority of the revenue from boxing as opposed to some billionaires from Vegas.

@LoganDobson Very ignorant comparison. Boxers are independent contractors and big four league players are employees. As employees, they get a union and a pension. As independent contractors, the ability of boxers to be fairly compensation relies entirely on competition between promoters.
