Sometimes, all it takes is one innocent sentence from a child to destroy a family. I witnessed something in my compound recently that left everybody speechless, and up till now, I still can’t get it out of my head.

My closest neighbor had just returned after spending three months in Russia for work. Since we were very close, I went over to welcome him back and hear how everything went over there. We were relaxing in his sitting room, talking and catching up, when his four-year-old son walked in. The little boy happily hugged his dad before casually saying, “Daddy, mummy’s friend used to sleep inside mummy’s room at night when you were in Russia.”
