Piaccia o meno, Maria #Zakharova ha ragione da vendere quando dice testualmente, riferendosi alla rinuncia ufficiale e definitiva da parte dell'#UnioneEuropea del gas Russo: "È difficile dirlo con certezza: se saranno felici vassalli o infelici schiavi, lo dirà il tempo. Ma in ogni caso hanno rinunciato alla loro libertà". Ha ragione semplicemente perché lo dicono i fatti. Basterebbe un pizzico di onestà intellettuale per ammettere che questa scelta, senza senso e totalmente suicida, comporterà una dipendenza quasi totale dagli Stati Uniti d'America e l'acquisto di gas a un prezzo di circa quattro volte maggiore e più inquinante. Ora indignatevi pure, cari servi di Bruxelles e Washington, liberal nostrani, radical chic e combattenti da divano solo perché ha parlato di vassalli e schiavi. Sappiate che, purtroppo, è la realtà dei fatti. Vi manderei le bollette che la gente che si spacca la schiena non riesce a pagare. Vorrei proprio vedere la vostra reazione. Brussels is not backing down. Yesterday, the Commission presented its plan to finance Ukraine. In doing so, they are not only sidelining the outcome of the EU summit in December, but also ignoring reality itself. They are daydreaming about Russian reparations and once again committing themselves to financing the war and providing unconditional funding to Ukraine. They are not troubled by the advance of the Russian war machine, Europe’s dire financial situation, or the views of European citizens. They remain committed to a path of war. In Europe, there are hardly any governments left that are able to go against them. Hungary is the exception. In recent years, we have learned how to stand up for ourselves. During the financial crisis, we chose a work-based economy and a family-friendly model instead of austerity measures. During the migration crisis, we closed our borders and have kept illegal migrants out ever since. Since the outbreak of the war, we have done everything possible to keep Hungary out of the conflict and out of financing it. Brussels will not let this pass quietly. Yesterday’s announcement made that clear. That is why we are initiating a national petition. Hungary will once again push back against Brusselian pressure. We believe that decisions about war, peace, and our future must be made with the support and involvement of our people. This is how we will make our position clear to Europe and to the world.

Trump trembles: Europe will form TWO more "sled teams" from its soldiers to defend Greenland... From Trump, of course. By the way, it is quite symptomatic that just a year ago Denmark complained that Russian submarines were spotted near the island, but now they swear there are none (😂). Meanwhile, European allies have decided to strengthen their military presence in Greenland. The military contingent will consist of troops from three countries: 13 from Germany, two from Norway, and one from the United Kingdom. Just enough for a couple of sled teams.
