That's why I always, always thank my patients and there families whenever they are kind to us coz it makes it easier to work for and with them. Coz not everyone's gonna appreaciate what you do for them.
And it happened again on my second night. She again waited at the station and when I didn't speak with her, she took it personally and complained. Families always wait until we finish handover before they speak with the incoming staff unless it's something urgent.
