Now Chelsea have to stop them… against Donnarumma in peak form – that sounds like mission impossible.

With all due respect to the Brazilian teams, the hosts had a much easier path to this point.

They didn’t face a single top European opponent.

Chelsea will be trying to win a second world title (after 2021), which would make them the first English club with two of these trophies.

If they lose, they will become the first team in history to lose two Club World Cup finals (after 2012).

PSG are debutants in this tournament and have already broken their club record with 48 wins in a single season.

As for the lineups, it’s interesting that João Pedro – Chelsea’s new striker – scored twice on his debut, right in the semi-final.
