@acidz @rux Did you make sure that the mic source is selected correctly? Just in case something screwed up there? Happened to me before. Audio was routed to the BT earpiece but mic was set to the laptop’s.

Actually they did. It is a USB-C cable with a MagSafe 3 head. Anyway, it's good that Apple kept the option of still charging using USB-C directly!
