Informal workers, residents and civil society prganisations on Tuesday, June 30, staged a peaceful protest at the Jabi Lake Recreational Park in Abuja, demanding that the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Administration halt the proposed redevelopment and privatisation of the park until the full details of the project are made public and affected communities are consulted.

Yesterday, Lere Olayinka mistakenly exposed the fact that APC apologists and supporters now have access to the secret INEC administrative portal - a backend protected by a username and password that is meant strictly for INEC ICT staff. I have broken down this massive revelation in a new video, which is now available on my YouTube channel. Watch it here:

I’ve spent the past couple of weeks building Looters: a public archive of Nigerian political corruption since the 1990s.
Governors, ministers, shell companies, Swiss accounts, the Jersey trusts, — one searchable graph.

Journalists in Kaduna and Plateau states recount harrowing experiences of how past administrations secretly intercepted their phone calls, text and WhatsApp messages using GSM/UMTS Interception Systems to track, arrest, detain and torture them.

I reported a police officer to the Federal High Court Abuja.
Not PSPC. Not his DPO. Not his IG.
Federal High Court.
Let me tell you what he did to make me go that far.
Statements like this only deepen public concern about how land allocation decisions are made and who benefits from them. When access to public assets is framed as selective or used to gain favours, it reinforces the need for transparency, not discretion.
We have submitted FOI request to @officialFCDA regarding the redevelopment of Jabi Lake Park, seeking clear records on allocation, procurement, and planning processes. The law requires that decisions around public land be documented, accessible, and subject to scrutiny.
Don’t stop asking Joash Amupitan to resign. Your silence will not make public scrutiny go away. We know this pattern too well. Good morning, Nigeria!

I don’t know the background but we must all do our bits as citizens to bring about the kind of country we want.
Someone took me to an airport in a Nigerian state today and the Aviation Security guy collected money to let a car through without searching it, which he should normally have searched as is the protocol in that airport.
When we got to where he was, I took time to educate him on why it was so dangerous for Aviation Security to collect money to let a car through without a search. I told him that he was endangering the lives of all of us by doing that, since that car could be carrying a bomb. He apologised and promised not to do it again but I will tell his bosses at FAAN that that practice is going on at that airport.
If more citizens speak out, as that lady did, and more government officials are responsive, like that Commissioner was, we will gradually build a country that works for all.
I am Ezemmuo. I know things.
