That’s what I unpack in my new article on fAIr & square: https://t.co/CmkjvR9ThR
And it’s a theme I’m exploring further in my upcoming book on AI regulation.
Curious: What’s one job you think AI could never replace?
AI won’t just change your job.
It will change the jobs your children will one day have.
A few reflections from my latest fAIr & square article — and from the book I’m writing on AI regulation. 🧵
AI regulation is often framed as “rules for algorithms.”
But it also needs to be about rules for people — protecting opportunity, fairness, and dignity in the future of work.
That’s why I argue: AI regulation must prioritize the how.
I unpack this idea further in fAIr & square: https://t.co/FqHEgQV1Yf
Curious to hear you: what do you see as the hardest part of regulating AI fairly and effectively?
When it comes to AI, how we regulate will matter more than what we regulate.
A few thoughts from my latest fAIr & square article (and part of the book I’m writing on AI regulation). 🧵
Poorly designed regulatory processes risk making even the “right” rules ineffective.
On the other hand, strong governance frameworks can make complex regulation practical, fair, and trusted.
The key is to actively start 'managing' regulations since their inception.

🚀 Excited to share that I’ve started a new chapter as Founder & CEO of fAIrly simple.
We’re on a mission to help governments use AI —to make regulations clear and accessible, analyze the rules that shape their economies, and prioritize reforms where they matter most. 🌍
Our belief: even the most complex problems can be solved in clear, impactful ways; you just need to keep things simple! That inspired our name.
With the right AI tools, governments can build smarter regulation → better policy → stronger growth.
To get the best out of AI, we need to see both sides of the equation.
Yes, more productivity and transformative power, but also the risk and price that come with it. #AIfairness should be at the center of this .
What does AI fairness mean to you? Let's talk fAIr & square!
AI won’t just transform tech. It’ll transform everything!
That’s why I launched fAIr & square: a new space to share insights, challenges, and ideas on AI fairness —in ways everyone (not just experts) can grasp.

AI enthusiasm prevents us from seeing the blind spots and red flags of irresponsible AI practices.
That is why we need more approachable conversations about AI fairness, among policymakers, practitioners and anyone curious.
