There is no limit to the atrocities a person who is completely convinced of his rightness and that anyone who disagrees with him is not just wrong but evil and dangerous is capable.
@PaulinusOfTrier There’s an absurd and fundamental contradiction in a Church that’s spent 60 years downplaying Papal and clerical authority more generally, the unique salvific role of the church, and the reality of sin and Hell, trying to intimidate people with the threat of excommunication.
