SpaceX President & COO Gwynne Shotwell on @Starlink Mobile and its impact on Verizon, AT&T and T-Mobile:
"Roughly, between them, $600 billion a year. I anticipate us to be able to acquire quite a few of their customers. Our service will be better. We will eliminate dead zones leveraging the satellites in orbit. It will be better during any natural disaster. I'm quite excited about Starlink Mobile."
🚨 To the transport ministries, road authorities and governments still withholding FSD Supervised:
@mitgov_it@BMV@PhilippeTabarot@oscar_puente_@Transport_EU
The data is no longer theoretical.
Across 65+ million kilometres in the five countries that already approved it, FSD Supervised has delivered 5.2× fewer collisions than human drivers.
On motorways: 41.9 million km with zero collisions.
Every extra day of delay is not neutral. It is a choice that leaves people less safe on the roads they share.
🇮🇹 Italy (@mitgov_it): the paperwork is on your desks. Technical discussions are already underway. Your parliament is about to leave for the summer recess.
Finish the recognition of the Dutch type approval before the holidays. Give Italian Tesla owners, and the thousands of European travellers who cross your borders every day the safest driver-assistance system currently available on European roads.
The same message to every other nation still waiting for ‘more coordination’ while real-world data keeps proving the system works.
Safe cross-border travel with Tesla FSD Supervised should not be a privilege reserved for five countries.
It should be the standard for Europe.
Do the right thing. Approve it. Before the summer break.

Monsieur le Ministre des Transports @PhilippeTabarot,
Bravo.

🚨 Elon just admitted he ‘got a little too involved in politics’ and ‘got carried away.’
In Europe the costs were real: Tesla sales took a hit in 2025 amid the backlash, and while FSD Supervised is now live in 5 EU countries (NL, BE, DK, LT, EE), France just said no for now, citing safety.
Would the regulatory climate have been more open without the political noise? Probably. But the core barrier remains Europe’s slow, rules-based approval system, not just one man’s tweets.
Politics has a price. Even when the product is strong.

🚨 Major breakthrough potential for Tesla FSD in Europe!
According to an official email from Germany’s Federal Ministry of Transport, the TCMV (Technical Committee) is scheduled to vote on the EU-wide approval of ‘FSD Supervised’ on October 6, 2026 (Tuesday).
Key details from the email:
• If the vote passes with a qualified majority, the European Commission would issue an implementing act.
• This would authorize the Dutch approval authority to grant a type approval valid across the entire European Union.
This could finally open the door for supervised Full Self-Driving across Europe. A huge step forward after years of regulatory hurdles! 🙌
Will October 6 be the day Europe says yes to FSD?

Once FSD can remember parking presences, especially parking in a home garage or remembering someone parking spot in an apartment complex/garage, interventions will go wayyy down. By far the #1 reason I hear why people can't keep their FSD streak going is because of parking.
🚨 Tesla FSD Supervised in Europe. Quick Update (July 2026).
Good news first: FSD is already approved and rolling out in 5 EU countries; Netherlands (April), Lithuania, Estonia, Denmark & Belgium. All via the Dutch RDW type approval + Article 39 exemption. Owners are racking up tens of millions of safe kilometers with very few issues. Tesla’s real-world data keeps looking strong. 👍
The RDW route is still alive! Italy 🇮🇹 just filed for recognition of the Dutch approval. Germany 🇩🇪 is reviewing docs + getting a test car this month. More countries can still follow without waiting for full EU approval.
But… progress in bigger markets (Germany 🇩🇪, France 🇫🇷, Italy 🇮🇹, Spain 🇪🇸, Czechia 🇨🇿 etc.) is slow. The TCMV/EU vote is now expected in October or later. Greece 🇬🇷 announced fast-track plans in May but got delayed by politics and a ministerial change, so nothing expected before September.
Many TΞSLA owners feel regulators aren’t being fully fair. Tesla has the most advanced vision-based system, massive real-world miles, and proven safety in approved countries. Yet some big countries seem hesitant and prefer waiting for a bloc-wide decision. A German minister reportedly didn’t even invite Tesla to Level 4 talks, even though no one else matches their scale and data.
Europe wants high safety standards, that’s understandable. But when one company is clearly leading with transparent fleet data, dragging feet costs time and potentially lives. The domino effect is happening, just slower than we’d like. 😔
TΞSLA keeps pushing with demos, data & lobbying. Owners: keep politely contacting your local authorities. The momentum is real, more countries will join. 💯
What do you think? Fair process or too bureaucratic?

🚨 Big update for Tesla FSD in Italy. 🇮🇹
After reaching out on LinkedIn, Gaetano Servedio (Director General at the Italian Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport) confirmed that Tesla submitted its FSD homologation application just a few days ago, requesting recognition of the Dutch approval in Italy.
The documentation is now with his office and currently under review (also taking EU guidelines into account).
Finally some real progress. 🤖🚗
Fingers crossed for a smooth and quick approval.
