The systems that prevent others from feeling safe in acknowledging who they are must be eliminated. We need diverse perspectives to grow, otherwise we're supporting the exclusion of anyone who doesn't fit that perfect mold. (9:9)

Vent! We get a lot of chats in a program I'm in about applying to #gradschool. SO important that we acknowledge our differences! When we acknowledge #diversity, we grow as individuals and as a society. When we ignore them, we minimize and make minorities out of individuals. (1:9)

I had a boss once who wouldn't hire a disabled person because they didn't think they were capable. If they say they are capable and have shown that through other facets, the hiring process should note they are determined and supported, not unworthy of consideration. (8:9)
