This is not โcruise,โ not entertainment, and certainly not a joke. This is a disturbing display of thuggery, intimidation, & the kind of lawlessness & intimidation Muslims face in the Christians-majority areas in Nigeria, especially the southeast.
A group of young Igbo men openly harassed and terrorized two innocent cobblers with a cutlass, while some of their beastly friends laughed in the background as though violence against hardworking citizens is something to celebrate. They act as though their own brothers and sisters in their millions are not living in other parts of the country.
The face of the main aggressor is clearly visible in the footage, and his accomplices can also be identified. With such undeniable evidence, the question is simple: why have these boys not been arrested? Why are they still walking freely after committing an act of intimidation that could have easily turned deadly?
The victims in the video are Northerners. And let us be honest, if this very same incident had happened in reverse, the national reaction would have been completely different. If those Northern boys had been the ones holding small knives or any kind of weapon in self-defence, or if they had retaliated out of fear and desperation, the situation would have escalated immediately and the narrative would have changed completely. That is exactly why acts like this must never be taken lightly.
Violence breeds violence. When innocent people are pushed, humiliated, or threatened, situations can spiral out of control. This is why such behaviour must be confronted firmly and immediately, no matter who is involved.
We therefore call on the @PoliceNG to identify, arrest, and prosecute everyone involved in this shameful act. A strong message must be sent that no citizen, from any region, any background, or any occupation, should be subjected to harassment, intimidation, or violence while simply trying to earn a living.
Lawlessness thrives when the state looks away. This is the time to act decisively.
The greatest lie ever told is that the southwest is tolerant & accepts every religion. This is both a fallacy & a myth. It is a fallacy in the sense that it is meant to mislead many into believing such, whereas the events of the day always point to the opposite. It is a myth because that false belief is widely held but events that happen always say otherwise. Typically, a Yoruba Muslim experiences the steepest resistance when he or she chooses to exercise his or her own religion according to the dictates of the religion. They'd be termed fanatics, Islamists or fundamentalists. The only tolerance is when they choose to be only Muslims by name, the "I am a Muslim, but...." or those that aid the ideology of Kufr spread regardless of how that affects Islam.
In its true definition, RELIGIOUS TOLERANCE should mean, serve your own and allow me serve mine without hating or disrupting, while peacefully co-existing. I must not throw away mine to be a tolerant one, because I won't expect you to throw yours if truly you're an adherent of the religion you proclaim. You also cannot define my religion for me, just the way I can't define yours for you. Islam is what it is because of practice not just verbal proclamation. If you'd spend your entire life shouting "I am a Muslim", yet you don't practice it, you're wasting your time. Every Muslim reserves the right to practice his or her own choice of religion, just as the constitution is what gave every other person the rights to practice theirs.
Let's embrace tolerance, based on the concept of "Be and let me be". Dey your dey, make I dey my dey. Serve what you choose, and how, and allow me serve mine and how my religion dictates.

@Realoilsheikh Nigeria Air, mambila water projects scams, his untouchable CBN governor in detention, exorbitant subsidy payment, and many other scams, and still no allegations charges?
Just passing by๐คฃ๐
Dear @renoomokri,
Prsidnt @officialABAT is the 1 responsible for removing fuel subsidies, increase electricity tariff, in crease tax in virtually evrythng, float the naira, and.. These policies are the reasons why the hardship. Perhaps that maybe the reason they attack President.
Anybody facing hardship in Nigeria attacks the President, making me wonder if they do not have Governors. Are you aware that every single state in Nigeria has been getting at least 45% more federal allocation than they were making under Buhari? Nasarawa gets almost 100% more, and Anambra receives 70% more, but their wage bill has not increased. What are they doing with such revenue?
Meanwhile, from this month onward, Local Government allocations will be paid directly to LGAs courtesy of the President's legal battle to free them from the yoke of greedy governors.
It is your governors, like Abia, who owe civil servants salaries and are not even paying the old minimum wage. Yet, you hardly drag Alex Otti and other governors owing back salary.
The Federal Government does not owe salaries. And federal civil servants have been getting a โฆ35,000 wage support on top of their salaries. And today, the President even raised the minimum wage to โฆ70,000. He sent twenty trucks of rice to each state. Look at Lagos. They already pay โฆ70,000, build serious infrastructure, and provide free healthcare and subsidised education.
My question to you is this: What is your Governor doing to alleviate your sufferings?

@renoomokri Dear @gtbank@gtbank_help, sincerely, the attitude of some of your personnel in customer care is totally uncalled for. A simple case that can be resolved in a day or 2 is now taking more than 2 weeks to resolved. The worst part now is they stop responding to my messages. So sad.
While you are trying hard to impress them by insulting your own people, that will never stop them from killing you whenever they got the chance. We have thousands of case studies.
Each time you ask an igbo people which billionaire do they have in Forbes list, please remember they donโt have beggars scattered around the country.
@renoomokri The problem is, most of the people opposing the mass weddings are the same folks supporting and promoting nudity in other parts of the country. As the writer rightly said, you people continue living in nakedness and nudity and allow us to live our modest life. It's our choice.
In a family, the firstborn often eats and leaves some of his food for the lastborn. He struggles and helps the lastborn. Often, he is disciplined, and the last born is spoilt. He gives to the last born, but the last born hardly ever gives back. Yet, the lastborn will still complain to their parents that 'brother is not helping me enough'. In a lot of cases, there is nothing that the firstborn can do for the lastborn that he will be grateful. His sense of entitlement makes him think that it is his destiny to receive and never give. As such, the firstborn always leads, why the last born follows.
Politics is like that. If a region keeps behaving like a lastborn, it will never lead. Others give them out of their own political offices, but they can NEVEE give others out of theirs. Others are welcoming towards them, and they thrive in those regions, but their own territory is closed to outsiders, and even amongst themselves, there is no or low love. Indigenes of neighbouring states are not given political opportunities in their states. And because of this, their lastborn behaviour, they remain last. They forever complain that the firstborn is cheating them. But in the home of the firstborns, they thrive and enjoy what the firstborn can NEVER enjoy in their own house.
