@LIRR shorter train on Wednesday, morning rush hour train (Babylon Line), into Penn?!? Was that a decision based on the data too? Every car has people standing up and down the aisle. Please explain.
@LIRR no Babylon direct trains to Atlantic Terminal in the morning on weekdays? Don’t understand, other than just pushing the under-used Grand Central Terminal, but maybe you can explain?
@LIRR when are you actually going to make real changes with Grand Ctrl trains, and stop with the reduced car trains to Penn? There are 5+ train cars with monthly ticket holders standing in the aisle on pre-7am train to Penn…it’s time to make some changes!
@LIRR when are you moving Atlantic Terminal trains closer to transfer trains at Jamaica (track 1,2,3)? Any thoughts of running a few directs to Atlantic?
@LIRR Another standing room only train. Seems the norm now. Waiting on you @LIRR to add morning commute trains. Not sure what statistics you’re looking at or what you’re waiting for, but it is time!
@LIRR Either the 552am Atlantic Terminal and 632am Penn (Babylon line). Standing Room Only. Reintroduction of 617am would be beneficial to all riders. Additionally reintroducing the 6:36pm from Penn would be helpful to riders.
@LIRR please explain: school starting this week, meaning more commuters into the city, but shorter trains are being used for peak westbound trains = people standing in the aisle
@LIRR on 6:36pm from penn to wantagh. Been stopped at Jamaica for 20 min with no announcements or updates. Don’t understand the lack of communication. Run the LIRR like a business!
@LIRR please explain: conductor of 6:46pm Babylon train from Penn sees 5 people sprinting down the stairs at 6:46pm; he presses the button to close the doors and pulls out. For all the late and crowded trains people have to deal with, some common sense would be nice!
