Swedish scientists have revealed a remarkable medical breakthrough: nanobots that can clear dangerous arterial plaque in just minutes. - الفتر : ما بين الإبهام والسبابة.

- الفوتُ: ما بينَ كل إصبعين طـولاً.

٣ - الفتق الرياضي

على الرغم من الاسم، فإن الفتق الرياضي ليس في الواقع فتق حقيقي،
ولكنه يمثل مجموعة من الأعراض،
وعادة ما يكون ألم الفخذ أو الضغط دون انتفاخ واضح،
ينشأ عن إصابة العضلات أو الأوتار أو ضعف في الفخذ. تحدث هذه بسبب الحركات المتكررة أو السريعة من التواء الورك أو الحوض والتي يمكن أن تحدث بعد ممارسة الرياضات التنافسية،
ومن هنا جاء الاسم.

هناك العديد من العضلات والأوتار التي تعلق على عظم العانة،
ويمكن أن تمتد أو تمزق أو تسحب أثناء الرياضات مثل كرة القدم والهوكي والبيسبول وكرة القدم وأكثر من ذلك.

نظرا لعدم وجود فتق واضح مرتبط بهذا التشخيص، يتم تشخيصها عادة عن طريق الفحص البدني والتاريخ،
وفي الحالات الأكثر تعقيدا، يمكن استخدام الأشعة السينية أو التصوير المقطعي المحوسب أو التصوير بالرنين المغناطيسي أو الموجات فوق الصوتية للبحث عن الإصابات.

الفتق البطني والفتق السري

تحدث الفتق البطني في جزء من جدار البطن فوق أو أسفل السرة (زر البطن) و/أو داخل السرة نفسها،
حيث يطلق عليها الفتق السري. هذه الفتق أقل شيوعا من الفتق الإربي،
حيث من المتوقع أن يصاب حوالي 10 في المائة من كل من الرجال والنساء إما بفتق بطني أو سري خلال حياتهم.
