Good news: Dissolved oxygen levels in the River Sheppey are stable. Environment Agency chair @EmmaHowardBoyd came to Godney to see the impact of the pollution for herself and hear about our next step. Booms in river pinch-points will hopefully collect dead fish ready for removal.
Can’t get to Hyde Park this Saturday, but still want to show @ChrisGPackham your support? Then join our virtual Walk for Wildlife! You could even make a placard, take a pic and use it in your tweet! On Saturday let’s help get #ThePeoplesWalkForWildlife trending!
On my website you will find seven posters . Please print them and put them up wherever you can to help promote The Peoples Walk for Wildlife on 22nd September . https://t.co/2Yf1GxTBKM . See you there . #PeoplesWalkforWildlife
Look at how stunning these creatures are! Such strikingly beautiful individuals. Unbelievable that our naive and partisan government should elect to murder them en-masse, with no scientific case to support their policy. Something must be done. https://t.co/OO7P1synaE
Green Woodpecker feathers. Looks like one has met its end, but who done it?? I've never seen Buzzards on this site, only Kestrels...legend has it that Peregrine Falcons hunt over this way... #30DaysWild
Moment of calm before a bat survey. Serenaded by church bells, lambs bleating, then treated to awesome aerial displays by the bats. Fantastic! @SurreyWT#EcologyServices#30DaysWild
