Some of the same elected Republicans who voted to overturn my student loan relief plan benefitted from thousands in pandemic relief loans to keep their own businesses open.

Those loans were forgiven.

Now, they refuse to extend the same relief to borrowers with student debt.

Over the last two decades, more school-age children have died from guns than on-duty police officers and active duty military combined.

Think about that.

Congress, the time to pass stronger gun safety reforms is now.

Those are issues that DO NOT rise to the level of expulsion from Congress in Tennessee.

But protesting gun violence after a deadly mass shooting can get Reps Gloria Johnson, Justin Jones and Justin Pearson expelled.

BREAKING: Tennessee has voted to EXPEL the first of three Democrats for protesting for stronger gun safety with demonstrators at the Tennessee Capitol.

House lawmakers voted 72-25 to remove Rep. Justin Jones.

This is absolutely outrageous. Why should Rep. Jones be expelled while Republicans who helped plan January 6 still serve in the House?

Their insane response doesn't stop there.

When students, parents and teachers swarmed the capitol demanding an assault weapons ban, they not only KICKED THEM OUT, but worse, they are KICKING OUT the Democratic Representatives who tried to stand with the protesters!

But this teacher wasn't having it.

She's saying what so many teachers are saying — they do NOT want to be cops... to make horrible decisions to shoot their own students. Ban the guns that make school shootings so horrible, and solve the problem.

KUDOS to her for being brave. Let's get her message everywhere.

You know what doesn’t make sense to me, when girls in apocalypse movies have long flowey hair. Mine would have tangled in days with no conditioner. I would chop it off within a week. No one should be worried about hair when there are bigger things going on.
