“Taekook” is the duo name for Taehyung and Jungkook, just like any other combination of BTS members. There’s nothing taboo about it, using their subunit name should be just as normalised as using any other duo name. The double standards surrounding this are honestly ridiculous.

If your “fave” chooses to spend his downtime with someone, willingly poses for his photos, proudly shares photos he’s taken of him, likes those posts, and even their friends show their support… yet YOU continue to attack, insult, and vilify the very person he chooses to share these moments with, I have to ask:

Is he really your “fave”? Or are you only a fan of the version of him you’ve created in your head?

And this goes BOTH ways.

To those who attack Jungkook for his closeness to Taehyung, and those who call Taehyung names, accuse him of using Jungkook, or diminish their bond to fit some ridiculous narrative… are you even paying attention to the people you claim to love?

Jungkook is the one behind the camera. Jungkook is the one choosing to share these photos. Taehyung is the one happily posing for him, engaging with his posts, and sharing their moments together.

THEY are making these choices. Not you.

Both have spent years showing us who they are, what they value, and the importance of their bond.

And the idea that either of them would somehow endorse your hateful behavior toward someone they clearly love and value, or that either would choose YOU over the person they have consistently chosen to have in their life, is an insane level of parasocial entitlement.

The hypocrisy is staggering. Claiming to love someone while attacking the people they care about. Preaching about respecting their autonomy while refusing to accept their choices. Trying to rewrite their reality to protect your fantasy.

Open your eyes. Open your hearts. And ask yourselves whether you genuinely love and respect Taehyung or Jungkook as the individuals they are, or whether you’ve become so attached to your own imagined versions of them that you can no longer recognize the real people standing in front of you.

Because the rest of us are here for the REAL Taehyung and Jungkook. We listen to THEIR words, respect THEIR choices, celebrate THEIR happiness, and appreciate the moments THEY choose to share with us.

That is what REAL TaeKookers are and have always been.

And if you cannot support your favorite without tearing down someone who clearly matters to him, perhaps it’s time to ask yourself who you’re actually a fan of.
